A Photo A Day
My 8-week sabbatical, told through a photo a day.

Sabbatical mode activated. Kicking off the sabbatical and celebrating my birthday with 12 of my favorite humans. The Craft Framily vacation is officially underway!

Aug 21
Nothing says Vegas like a pink stretch limo named Pinky. Left my favorite dinner spot (Javier's!) and headed to Gilley's Saloon. Let's ride!

Aug 22
Cabana life at the Elevate Pool Party supporting Las Vegas Pride! A subset of the crew fully committed to the neon romper dress code.

Aug 23
Caught an absolute heater at the Cosmo craps table with Caleb! We both started with a few hundred and cashed out with a "banana" ($1,000 chip) each.

Aug 24
Last call. Most of the framily is home or will be soon, so I'm left sipping an espresso martini solo to close out an incredible trip.

Aug 25
Caught Willy Braun of Reckless Kelly doing a stripped-down acoustic set for a crowd of less than 50 people. FaceTimed cousin Tricia in for a bit to share the magic.

Aug 26
Struggled with having zero plans today. A walk, a surprise run-in with Ryan, and some Dolores Park sunshine fixed it.

Aug 27
Flew into Austin with a storm that finally broke the heat. Great dinner with cousin Kori, followed by Comedy Mothership and the mandatory 6th Street slice and Shiner.

Aug 28
Non-stop in Austin! Boozy brunch, Yeti store drinks and a purchase, a Barton Springs swim, and a double-visit to Casino El Camino. Capped it all off with rocking out to B-52s cover band Mock Lobster with Mia, Maddie, and Brandi.

Aug 29
Last day in Austin and the calmest yet. Slept in, grabbed brunch at the original Chuy's, and squeezed in one more Barton Springs swim before heading to the airport.

Aug 30
Back in SF! Reunited with Wendy and the kiddos, put up the Halloween decorations way early (as always), celebrated Nicole's 50th birthday in Moss Beach, and caught up with Chad at Poesia.
